Mat 15:8 'This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me;
Prophecy:
For indeed my children, this is the issue, it is a heart issue and it is why there is always conflict. For they do not desire their hearts to be revealed. They do not want to be laid bare. [Heb 4:13] They do not want to see it. They do not want you to see it and they do not want it published. For when you publish the intentions of the heart, it becomes clear where a man lives and what he is about. [Jer 23:24, Heb 4:12, Ps 139:2, Pro 25:26, Lk 2:35] [Tod: So prophets are publishers!]
Indeed!
[Tod: What do you do for a living? Well, I’m in sales, but I also do a little publishing.]
Mat 15:9 in vain do they worship me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.'"
Prophecy:
And I say to you, how are they worshiping me, if they do not know me?[Is 45:4,5; Jer 4:22; Jer 9:3; Jn 7:28]
They do not hear me![Is 6:9, Mt 13:13, Jn 8:43,47]
They do not regard me!
They do not see me!
They do not speak for me!
And yet they say they worship me?!
For if the heart is far from me, [Mk 7:6; I Co 2:11, Is 58:2]
then what is the point of the robes, or the phylacteries, for they do it all, they do it all my children, that they may be seen by men. [Mt 23:5, Jn 5:44; 1 Sa 15:24].
And in vain are they worshiping me, for THEY ARE NOT worshiping me!
I say THEY DO NOT KNOW ME!
I SAY, THEY DO NOT HEAR ME!
I say they do not SEE me!
I say, they do not feel after me! [Ac 17:27; I Co 2:11]
It is adultery. [Ex 20:14, Jer 3:1]
And how does the adulterous receive the benefits of marriage?
For the whole point of marriage is commitment in heart, yet their heart is far from me! [Jer 3:20-23]
For they are teaching the precepts of men.
For they do not know the precepts of the Lord. [Mk 7:7; Jude 1:16]
Would that they knew, that I desire mercy and not sacrifice. [Mt 9:13, Mt 12:7, Hos 6:6; 1 Sa 15:22; Jer 3:12,13]
Mat 15:10 And he called the people to him and said to them, "Hear …
(We only read this much of the verse and the Lord spoke on this word: "Hear". Many times the Lord has shown us the importance of the first word in a quote, like when it says: "Listen..")
Prophecy:
INDEED! HEAR! Why won’t you HEAR me?!
For your fingers are stuck in your ears, and you fill yourselves with your own thoughts!
And the Lord says, “Who hears the voice of the Lord and to whom knows the Lord. [I Co 2:11, Ex 15:26, Dt 13:18, Dt 15:5, Dt 28:1, Dt 30:20; 1 Sa 12:14; Ps 18:13; Ps 29:3-9; Is 30:30; Is 50:10
For this is the crux of the matter: “Where is your heart?”
All the day long I stand before a people who say they are mine, and yet they do not listen to me.[Is 58:2]
They say they are mine, that their banner is my name, yet they act with treachery toward one another. [I Jn 4:20, Is 58:3,4, Jas 3:8,9]
They say they are mine, and yet they spit and put vile and slime upon each other! [Job 21:27]
They say they are mine!
Is this how the Lord is?
What is your testimony?!
How did you live for the Lord today? In your nasty and vile thoughts?
How did you worship me today?! In your nasty and vile thoughts and words and looks and glares?! [Jas 3:14-16; Jude 1]
How did you worship the Lord today?!
It’s he who listens to the Lord and listens to his voice, it is obvious that he knows the Lord.
And I say they do not know me. [Ps 139:2; Mic 4:12]
Mat 15:12 Then the disciples came and said to him, "Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?"
And this is why! Of course they are offended when you expose them, [Pro 25:26] that what comes out of their mouth is defiling to them.[Mt 15:18]
For they speak evil [Gen 6:5] and wipe their mouth and say they did no wrong, is not this the adulteress? [Pro 30:20]
And they’re offended that you call them on their behavior! How dare Jan tell me the truth! [Jan wrote her pastor]
How dare Dave Simmons make me eat this! How dare they put my underdrawers on the Web! Although I, [referring to Chris], can do it as often as I want. [Lam 3:62; Jas 2:4]
How can you expect fairness from those who do not know me?
Mat 15:14 Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.
Prophecy:
And yet I say unto you, this is what they do: they are blind, and yet accuse you of being blind.
Those who are blind, see those who see: as blind, because you do not see as they see.
[Is 42:18; Jn 9:39-41]
And I say unto you, would that they could see!
Mat 15:15 But Peter said to him, "Explain the parable to us."
Prophecy:
That’s the right attitude!
Would that those on the internet would have had this reaction:‘OK Dave, if you have the answers, then what is it?’
But none of them did it! Not one! There is no soundness in it, I said to you many years ago:
Isa 1:6 From the sole of the foot even to the head, there is no soundness in it, but bruises and sores and bleeding wounds; they are not pressed out, or bound up, or softened with oil.

They have no soundness. For he took from them everything that was good and gave them something pseudo instead. Let me take this diamond brooch, and let me just take out the diamonds, and let me just put in these pieces of plastic right here, and there you go, you’re a Christian now! [Re: Stewart Traill]
Mat 15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, false witness, slander.
Prophecy:
And this is where their heart lies!
Evil thoughts!
If their thoughts are evil then their hearts are evil! [Gen 6:5, Mt 9:4, Mt 12:34, Lk 6:45]
And this is why it is the Lord's will that the hearts are cleansed of evil!
That the Lord God may pour forth the balm and reach into the hearts and cleanse what was wasted! [Jer 8:22, Ps 32:3, Lev 14:18]
For a heart that has been stripped bare, and a mind that has been polluted, cannot bring forth comfort! [Pro 25:26,Is 64:6, Lam 1:17, Lam 2:13]
Cannot bring forth strength!
Cannot bring forth blessing and joy and ALL GOOD THINGS!
They have been stripped!
As the ground is stripped when mines are planted, he stripped them bare and then sent them forth! [Re: Stewart Traill]
And they cling to it as though it is the Holy Grail, and they hold onto it with their claws![ie: the teaching and baptism of Stewart Traill]
How dare you try to take the Holy Grail from me!
And the Lord is saying: their Holy Grail is worthless!
What they hold in esteem, is worthless!
They do not know the peace of the Lord!
They slash at one another.
They slander one another.
Their minds are continually upon slanderous and evil thoughts! [Gen 6:5]
They do not think well of one another, but the scripture says, ‘As you do to the least of these, you do also to me’ [Ref: Matt 25:40]
Yet they do not see it!
They are blind as to how their hurtful thoughts, their hurtful hearts, their hurtful words, are an abomination to me, SAYS THE LORD!
Would that their eyes would be open to see, that they might reach to the Lord their God in truth and confess how they have given their hearts over to things that should not be: evil thoughts, malicious thoughts! [Is 55:7]
How can they expect JOY? From evil thoughts!
How can they expect PEACE? From malicious thoughts?
How can they expect BLESSING?! When their thoughts and their hearts are angry continually?! [Ps 10:7; Is 55:8, Jer 4:14]
He who hopes in the Lord has a continual feast! [Pro 15:15] And has no reason to point the finger [Is 58:9] and nay-say, and step on and backbite and kick, I say, those who do such things: Do Not KNOW the Lord!
They do not know his peace!
They do not know his comfort!
They do not know his strength!
They do not have joy!
For he who has joy, spreads what? [Dave & Tod: JOY!]
Joy! [Jas 5:13]
He who has peace, spreads what? [Dave & Tod: PEACE!] [Ps 85:8]
He who has comfort, spreads what? [Dave: Comfort!] [Pro 12:5; Pro 15:26]
And this is why the Lord God asks, “What is your testimony?”

Mat 15:20 These are what defile a man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."
Prophecy:
For they always point out things that are insignificant! [Ps 94:11]
Things that do not matter: yak, yak, yak, yak, yak, yak, yak! (In a high pitch, mocking voice):
‘You ate what you shouldn’t have!’
‘You didn’t wash your hands!
That’s bad!
That’s nasty!’
Isn’t it funny that those who do nasty are the first to see nasty?
But yet, what they actually see is of very little consequence. [Is 55:8]
Mat 15:21 And Jesus went away from there and withdrew to the district of Tyre and Sidon
Prophecy:
Why did he go away?
Because his work there was done.
And when I show you to leave the Reunion [Aug 2010] you will leave the Reunion, for your work will be done. Do you understand? [Dave: Indeed I do.]
For what is it to say, ‘I am leaving early and I will leave late’? You will go when I send you and you will leave when I pull you out. [Ps 139:2, 23]
And wherever you meet that morning you will pray and you will be oiled and you will be ready to go, at a moment's notice. ‘When will they be here?’‘When are they coming?’‘What kind of entrance will they make?’
Mat 15:22 And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came out and cried, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is severely possessed by a demon."
Mat 15:23 But he did not answer her a word. And his disciples came and begged him, saying, "Send her away, for she is crying after us."
Mat 15:24 He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."
Mat 15:25 But she came and knelt before him, saying, "Lord, help me."
Mat 15:26 And he answered, "It is not fair to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."
Mat 15:27 She said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table."
Mat 15:28 Then Jesus answered her, "O woman, great is your faith! Be it done for you as you desire." And her daughter was healed instantly.
Prophecy:
What is the point here? Mercy!
And if there were Pharisees there, would they have not found fault? [Dave: Yes]
But to the one who had her daughter healed:
It WAS MERCY!
It was KINDNESS!
It was WONDERFUL!
It was something that she would never forget, that the Lord did this for her.
The Lord implanted upon her a blessing, both physical, and spiritual and emotional and she is remembered for it to this day, that she had the faith to receive against the odds.
How quickly my people turn away from a blessing when it is openly offered, and they turn their nose up at it. [Jas 5:14,15; Lk 14:16-24]
They have no taste for it, but the food of maggots that they eat! If you try and take it away, they are mad.
Mat 15:30 And great crowds came to him, bringing with them the lame, the maimed, the blind, the dumb, and many others, and they put them at his feet, and he healed them,
Mat 15:31 so that the throng wondered, when they saw the dumb speaking, the maimed whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.
Prophecy:
For indeed it’s a blessing!
For indeed, he who seeks a blessing, finds a blessing!
And wouldn’t it be wonderful if those to whom the Lord was sent, actually desired to receive the blessing?! [Dave and Tod: Yes]
That would bless the deliverer.
For the Lord Jesus knew to whom he was sent, as you know to whom you are sent! [Mt 15:24,Lk 4:18,Mt 10:6, Mt 15:24]
And yet they would find fault with you, that you don’t do as they crave.
They find fault with you that you don’t go on the street corner and witness.
But whatever it was, anything that you take a stand on, they would find fault with.
[Fault Finders do what? Find Fault!]
This is their mantra: ‘Let us go and twist the arm of the unsaved’
‘Let us go and point to the unsaved, that they’re not good like us’
Their witnessing has become their box: to taunt, their box to boldly proclaim their own loyalty...
[Mt 15:31 and they glorified the God of Israel]
…it is the right reaction!
And this is the right reaction to healing!
The right reaction to healing is: Praise the Lord!
In recognition of who the healing came from.
Praise the Lord, that my brother who couldn’t see is seeing!
And my sister who couldn’t walk, is walking! We don’t have to carry her anymore!
We don’t have to lift her from the toilet?!
We don’t have to lift her from her bed to her chair?!
We don’t have to carry her upstairs?!
For when there is a healing, it effects every one around those who are maimed!
[Dave: Wow! Thank you Lord, Yes!]
Those who could not speak, can now speak!
They don’t have to make signs when they want water, or if they’re cold and need a blanket!
They can speak for themselves!
Is not this a blessing?!
[Dave: Indeed!]
But the Pharisees, when they see healing, they turn and say, ‘We should kill him!’
For was not this the way they reacted when many were healed? [Dave: Yes]
They left and sought a way to destroy him. [Is 59:7, Mt 12:14, Mk 3:6, Mk 11:18]
That is the thought of the flesh: ‘Let me see how I can destroy my brother and his ministry.’
What brother is this?! [Is 55:9]
On one hand he [Chris] testifies that you helped his wife, and yet, he left you. Very interesting.
Mat 15:32 Then Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion on the crowd, because they have been with me now three days, and have nothing to eat; and I am unwilling to send them away hungry, lest they faint on the way."
Prophecy:
A true shepherd is what? He cares for the sheep, not only when they are in his presence, but when they leave, he is concerned that they don’t faint on the way. That they have enough sustenance to carry them to their next port of rest.
Mat 15:33 And the disciples said to him, "Where are we to get bread enough in the desert to feed so great a crowd?"
Prophecy:
For I said unto you that I would feed you on the bare heights. [Is 41:18, Is 49:9] I will feed you in the desert. I will feed you when there is no food to be found. I will feed you, because that is who I am!
I am he who has bread enough.
I am he who gives the water of life.
I am he who is light.
I am he who is strength.
I am he who has what you need to sustain you.
In every valley!
On every hilltop!
And in all of the precipices beneath!
And between!
Above! Below! Within!
The Lord God has counseled and thought of it all.
[Ps 92:5, Ps 139:17]
I go behind and before!
My pinions, I wrap you in!
For the Lord God does not leave his children desolate.
The Lord God is an everlasting God!
Mat 15:34 And Jesus said to them, "How many loaves have you?"….
(very softly the prophecy came):
I tell you a mystery. I will tell you the mystery of the loaves.
I asked them, “How many loaves do you have with you?”
And this I say to you my children, open your hand, and look at it, how many crumbs has the Lord put there? [Dave: Many, Tod: a lot] [Ps 40:5]
And this is how the Lord made the loaves: with what is already in your hand.
If you only have what you’ve already attained,[Php 3:16] it is enough to make more.
If it is as small as a grain of mustard seed, it is enough.
If you have received the tiniest bit, the tiniest morsel, and it came from the Lord, it is enough to sustain you and sustain all those with you.
And if I put into your hand a tiny grain and it was enough to sustain you and all those with you..
Then what if I put something in the hand of someone next to you...
And I put something in the hand of the one next to them...
And I put something in the hands of one next to him...
And that’s how grain is multiplied. [Ps 40:5]
For this is faith!
It is contagious!
If you hold it in an honest heart,[Lk 8:15, Ps 73:1] it can be expanded!
And this is why I have said that you are the hope of your household.
If you hold fast to what you have already attained, you can move mountains!
You can break in two the bars of iron!
And the obstinate must flee away before it, for it is wholesome, it is good, it is nourishing, it is a blessing; and light triumphs over darkness!
Blessing and mercy triumph over a haughty spirit.
Kindness is more valuable than kicking against the goads. [Is 55:9]
This is the secret of the loaves: That he who has, will more be given.[Ps 24:3-5, Mt 13:12, Mk 4:24,25, Lk 8:18, Lk 19:26 ]
Mat 15:36 he took the seven loaves and the fish, and having given thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
Prophecy:
And so I will say, You cannot take what you do not have. And this is why it was counseled to make sure that the maidens have oil in their lamps. [Mt 25:4]
You cannot take with you what you do not have, but if the Lord has given you something, it can grow!
This is the message: If you have but a few scraps: FROM THE LORD! Then that can grow!
If you received something from the Lord:
And you hold it...
And you do not squander it...
Or hide it...
Or throw it away...
Or act as if it is nothing...
If you value what you have from the Lord, then it can grow, even if it’s as small as a mustard seed it can grow into a great tree! [Mt 13:31, Mt 17:20, Mk 4:31, Lk 13:11, Lk 17:6]
If ‘YOU HAVE IT’ the question is: Have you received anything from the Lord? [Tod: Yes!]
[Ac 20:24, Mt 21:22, Jn 3:27,
Then that is what can grow, if you invest it!
If you invest in your faith, your faith can grow!
If you invest in strength from the Lord, your strength from the Lord can grow!
If you invest in prophecy, your prophecy will grow!
[1 Co 14:39]
If you invest in the gifts of the Lord, then the gifts of the Lord will grow.[1 Co 14:1]
If you INVEST IN JOY, THEN YOUR JOY WILL GROW!!! [Dave: Thank you Lord! Yes!]
Manifestations of the Spirit, have to do with what? Having it!!
DO YOU HAVE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD?
And if you say, “Yes” then that can grow!
This is the message: He TOOK WHAT THEY HAD! [Dave: Wow!]
That means they have to HAVE something!!
Hold fast to what you have ATTAINED! [Php 3:16, Rm 9:30]
But I say to you, those whose minds have been darkened, many times have not been able to attain anything.
This is why the Lord said, “Blessed are the poor in spirit, because the Lord will give to them, what they did not have.
But you who HAVE spirit, blessed are you if you invest it.
And you see, and it has to do with, number one: HAVING SOMETHING..
Then breaking it in half..
Then giving it to someone else..
And them giving it to someone else..
And them giving it to someone else..
And THEM GIVING IT TO SOMEONE ELSE!!! [Dave: Yes! Yes!! Ha, ha, haa!!]
Is not this a witness? [Dave: Indeed!]
But the first principle is: being able to receive into your hand what is the Lord's.
And indeed my children, those who I send you to are confused.
They have chaos for breakfast, and lunch, and dinner and what they’ve received, they count as manna, but it is evil.
And they look upon your food with disgust: "gruel ~ you can live on it" [Quoting what Chris said of our fellowship.] [Ps 56:5] [Tod: I forgot that one.]
So I say, he took what was good, what they received, and he multiplied it and all were satisfied.
My son Tod, how many times did you come into this house feeling oppressed and stressed and left with a full heart of comfort? [Tod: More times than I can count.] [Ps 40:5]
And therefore, that’s what you took away. [Tod: comfort!]
You took what they gave you and it was good and it nourished you. [Tod:
Absolutely.]
And many times the stress that you felt upon entering, was no longer there upon exit.
And so I say to you, in your own home:
Bring blessing to find blessing!
Bring comfort in to find comfort!
Recognize the stress, and lift it to the Lord. Say, ‘I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling stress, do you feel stress? Let’s lift it to God’. And therefore, multiply what is good, that those who leave your presence, go away with comfort and not with stress.
Mat 15:37 And they all ate and were satisfied; and they took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces left over.
For those who receive a blessing, have a blessing amplified.
Those who receive a blessing, are able to say, ‘I was blessed’.
The brother who received the oil blessing, was able to say he received a blessing.
And it stuck in their craw, those who wanted to put slime on you. [Ps 56:5]
Tammy T asked, “Who are you?”
because what she received exceeded her expectation!
Indeed!
They not only were nourished, but they had something in their pocket for the journey!
[When the tape was off we were discussing that no one thought to take the leftovers with them and the Lord spoke:]
Prophecy:
No one thought to do it, yet they were all marveling at the sign they had witnessed.
[Cynthia: That there was actually so much left over.]
It did not come to their mind.
For if you go to a guests house and they feed you till you are stuffed, you don’t think about left overs.
And then the disciples, it is not written what they did with it.
